Storage with style

If you’ve been following Mama for awhile, then you know how Mama loves a product that is multi-tasking. Storage is no exception to the rule — especially when it’s kid-sized storage. Mama is again cleaning out the playroom as the holidays will be upon us before we know it and all Lily-girl and Baby Boy need is another distraction from the stuff they already own.

With a place for Playdough, a place for books and a place for dress-up clothes, it gives Mama one more day before I lose my mind…That’s why were ordering our fair share of muli-tasking storage — an organized Mama, is a happy Mama!

A-B-C cubed — how cute are these storage cubes that are not only eco-friendly in their use of sturdy cardboard but they also double as tot-sized seats. It says the hold up to 110 lbs. and the letters and numbers are good lesson in learning…not to mention you won’t scream when marker gets on them. Available at AbesMarket.com, $45 for 3.

Seated animals – Mama found these a few months ago but couldn’t resist including them again for my new readers. They are amazing storage cubes but also seats with adorable animals on them. Right now they’re on sale too! Available at ContainerStore.com, $6.99 (regularly $9.99).

Toy can – made by the same company that makes the adorable little animal seats, these cans could be used for trash but are even better use for corralling lose toy items like Legos, dolls, art supplies or balls. The swing lid makes it easy to get to for little hands. Available at ContainerStore.com, $11.99.

Bucket rules — okay, so these are not the cheapest on the block but they sure are the cutest! Who can resist the designs of Serena and Lily — not Mama that’s for sure. Mama loves the Desk Caddy for storing art supplies and other loose items but you can’t go wrong with any of these buckets! Available at SerenaandLily.com, $33.60.

Stack it up – kids don’t need much but Mamas sure do. Kids could care less if toys are strewn across the floor 24-7. Keep the toys in check with ViaBoxes stackable storage. You can build your configurations and pick your styles on their Web site. Great for playroom or bedrooms. Available at ViaBoxes.com, $147 for a three pack.
