More good things

Mama knows she’s been shopping a lot lately but have you seen the deals out there to be had on summer apparel? Summer hasn’t even begun in sunny San Diego yet so it’s all in preparation of what’s to come. However, if you see a good deal on cashmere, you might as well snap that up as well because before you know it, it will also be getting cool for fall. 


You may have heard but Mama is getting heading out on a jet plane in less than four days to be exact to Mama’s favorite city – New York! While Mama does go to the city at least twice a year, this time it’s for pure business and pure pleasure to network with 2,500 bloggers at this year’s BlogHer Conference. Oh, and did Mama mention this will be sans kids?! Shaping it – as much as Mama hates to admit it, shapewear might become Mama’s new best friend. Until this recent trip came up, Mama has never once thought about buying or wearing a pair. However, after Baby Boy everything seems to have shifted one way or another. Mama is absolutely in love with the SPANX Half Slip Shaper. It is not huge, unattractive underwear but merely a slip that controls a little more than a regular slip and gives Mama the perfect smooth underneath the perfect dress. Bootie trend — you know what’s great about meeting up with 2,500 people you don’t know except via the Internet? It’s a great time to try out a new trend! Mama is in love with the ankle booties that are all the rage for fall. So NYC will be a great time to try them out, don’t you think? Available at Nordstrom.com, $109.95.
