Let’s jump right in and talk about how you can help Mama and kids in need during this time of back-to-school transition. Mama is so excited to be a part of the Promises 2 Kids Backpack and Flashdrive drive here in San Diego. Mama has told you about Promises 2 Kids previously but in case you haven’t read about it, it’s the only place in San Diego that houses neglected and abused children that have been taken from their homes either to be placed in foster care, adopted or to eventually be reunited with their families.

While you are rushing around buying school supplies and backpacks, won’t you consider buying an extra one to a child in need? It’s a small gesture that will mean a whole lot to someone you may or may never meet walking down the street one day. These children are our future and they don’t ask to be taken from their families, it’s not their fault that they are without backpacks to go to school or without pencils to learn to write their name.
