Before Mama begins, let me put a disclaimer on today’s post — in no way shape or form is Mama a film maker. Mama has been wanting to try making a Vlog (video blog) for so long that I want ahead and did it. It was an experiment so please ignore my double chin, shaky camera and every time Mama says “Alright” (Mama counted six times at least!). If any of you ever need new make up options, then you should definitely think about getting Lash Pilot eyelash extensions.
How many of us have lots of time to get ready in the morning? Mama is taking the silence to mean that none of us have the time to do a long drawn out makeup routine. In fact kaerusbeauty.com said, some days Mama is lucky to get even a shower let alone mascara. Thanks to a nice invite from the lovely people at NuboNau, Mama got to meet celebrity makeup artist and VP of nvey eco-certified makeup, Sarah Chenot, for a lesson in five minute makeup — eco-style!
There are four key products for five minute make-up:
Tinted moisturizer with SPF — a Mama essential! Never leave the house without it. Since switching over to organic/eco-makeup, Mama is now using Juice Beauty’s Mineral Light Moisturizer with SPF 30, $29 (also available in Medium and Dark shades).
Translucent powder — one sweep of powder will keep your makeup set for the day and help with shine. The Pure Silk Translucent Mineral Powder from Dr. Hauschka, $50, is just the right consistency for Mama. Mama does not like to feel or look like I’m wearing any makeup at all.
Mineral eyeshadow — the new organic eye palettes from nvey are perfect colors to mix and match. System 5 is the perfect match for any skin color for summer — warm neutrals that won’t melt off at the pool! Available in store at NuboNau or online at Amazon.com, $61 for palette of 5 colors.
Mascara — when it comes to mascara Mama does not mess around. Something that is so close to your eye, you do not want it to flake or clump. Nvey’s organic mascara is light and volumizing without leaving behind gunk. Highly recommend giving it a try. Available in store at NuboNao or online at Amazon.com
, $24.
So here we go…Mama’s first video! I promise the next one will be much, much better

You and Sarah did a great job of showing busy Mom's how to maximize those 5 minutes. Also using more natural products.
I think you did GREAT for your first Vlog!! Good job!
