Mamas Helping Mamas **Nominate and Giveaway**

It’s time for this Mama to do her monthly pay it forward. However this pay it forward will be different as it’s a group effort with a FAB group of Mamas in San Diego. We don’t have a name, although my husband refers to us as the “Bloggy, Blog, Blog Mamas…,” but we do have a voice in the community — a really LOUD voice! We’re using this voice to help a mama out in more ways than one.

The first annual San Diego KidsFest will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 1 – 2, 2010. The creators of the event, Robin and Tina have graciously offered a booth to several of us Bloggy, Blog, Blog Mamas. As much as we love promoting ourselves and our sites, together we decided what better way to do something good for other Mamas than collect diapers for those in need via the organization Help A Mother Out and also give our booth away. Here’s where you come in…

We are seeking a Mama who has recently, within the last 12 months, launched a small business and is looking for a much needed way to spread the word. You may nominate yourself or someone else. Please include one or two paragraphs about the person you are nominating including why you are nominating her and a brief description of her business. We will also need you to include the name of the company and a phone number where she can be reached. This mama does not need to have a blog, twitter or any other form of social media account (although an e-mail is probably a good thing!). Just someone trying to better herself and her family.

For those Mamas on Twitter, we will be hosting a Twitter party Monday evening, April 26, 2010, with the hashtag #KidsFestSDMoms. There will be giveaways and we will announce the winner of the KidsFest 2010 booth. The winner will share a double-size booth with HelpAMotherOut – don’t forget to bring your diapers to the booth to help another Mama in need! Oh, and did Mama mention the FAB giveaways we’ll be having at the booth…diaper bags, Kodak cameras…and more!

Now that business is done…Mama hopes you’ll join her in the FUN that will be happening that weekend!

Two huge stages to showcase San Diego’s finest young performers
