If you’re anything like Mama, you’ve been hitting up those after-Christmas sales before all the good deals go by the wayside! But have you FLIT it yet?! Don’t bother driving from store to store for the good deals when you can do everything with a few clicks of a mouse and now with Flit.com, you can do even less navigating and find exactly what you want.
Let Mama show you a prime example of how my new fave shopping site can save you time and money (because Mama lives by the motto: “time is money!”). Mama is shopping for a new black dress to get me through all the holiday parties and upcoming soirees where my Mama jeans and sweatshirts just won’t cut it. So I go to Flit.com and type in BLACK DRESS and it Flits me to the Womens Clothing category. I choose either Value or Premium stores of how I want my shopping results organized and then I start Flitting each store site. Amazingly, Flit takes out the search work and pulls out all the black dresses from each particular store so I can look and move on or click and buy.
The site is still in its early stages having just launched the first week of December but it is definitely a powerhouse in its own. Additional stores and categories are being added daily and if you have a favorite store or category that you don’t see on Flit, just submit your suggestions and surely your wishes will be granted (within a reasonable time period!).
Another key benefit to Flitting, you can save your session! So no need to fret because your boss came knocking on your cube ruining your last 20 minutes of searching for the over-the-knee boots you need for the party this weekend. Just e-mail yourself the links to your shopping session and no need to start over again with Flit!
For my one black dress search, I saved 275 keystrokes. If you add that over a course of a month of how many keystrokes my little fingers will be saved from needless typing and searching for the perfect item…Mama knows, it’s priceless!
My philosophy is simple: just because you're a mom doesn't mean you have to forgo style or your life. You can do it all with a little help from Mama. Mama makes life easier by doing all the shopping, crafting and ranting for you because really...what Mama has the time for that?! Mama will not lie, I can bake but if you're looking for cooking tips you might be better off going someplace else!
