Mama is of the old school tradition where the stockings “hung by the chimney with care” should be stuffed with necessary items – not just trinkets. My Mama always stuffed in fruit (usually dried apricots or fresh oranges), chapstick/lip gloss, vitamins, socks, underwear and a toothbrush.
